DUBLIN TOWER
Competition entry with Ben Stringer, 2003
The building is a single ribbon of structure leaping skyward from the ground. Peppered with circular holes it folds and unfolds becoming floor, wall and ramp until it blasts out of the top of the building to become a music studio.
The building is sheathed in a giant trellis woven from bamboo. Sliding screens at each level, giving office workers access to terraces and balconies running around the building.
